INTRO. Magic Bullet - Omnia Noctis (5:41 excerpt ) Hey, did I mention my brother was a movie star? Well, back in the 90’s, he wrote and appeared in a handful of indie films, one of which was the IAC Award winning Blood Hunt, which just happens to be celebrating its 30th anniversary around now. So, unbeknown to said brother, I secretly engaged the talents of my colleagues at the Ensemble For Sound Poetry And Creative Music (EFSPACM), and set them the task of watching the film and making some music inspired by it. What you are about to hear is the largely uninterrupted results of that project, featuring much great music (and elsewhere), all lovingly mixed into one long work (well, station ID in the middle), with links utilising dialogue from the original soundtrack, used quite without permission, coz it wouldn't have been much of a surprise if I'd asked, would it!? Anyway, he would like to be in an encyclopaedia, or perhaps even in a textbook for schools, but is not sure what should be written about him. He hopes it will be something positive. How about my writing that he's the main stalwart and work engine behind the EFSPACM group? We've had the pleasure of collaborating with him on two occasions now, once on "Nine Pillars Of Wisdom", originally released on Mr. Eel's "Two Halves" series, and on the album "Man + Machine: In Harmony / In Discord". Absolute pleasure... 34:19 Invisible Illusion (France) - The Hunter's Veil (10:00) One of the numerous secret identities of Ed End, who more generally works under the umbrella of Le Colibri Nécrophile. He did the video for our "Eleven Experiments In Trisecting Them" album, nice man... 48:03 Filmy Ghost (Chile) - Bloody Clues (3:05) As with Humanfobia, but Sábila's solo project and a completely different aspect of their música oscura, "making weird sound mixes for fun." They gave us a nice surprise once, created a track called "Another Face" using loads of samples from Magic Bullet stuff. Chris is probably best known as the man behind the Harsh Reality Music label (which first released some of my stuff 33 years ago!), but has also produced so much fine music (and elsewhere) across the decades.
