Okay, you got me, it's an old Magic Moments At Twilight Time track from 'The Time Machine' (M&E C-4017, 1988), the show was short by a minute and a half, sue me. Having said that, this is actually rather timely coz you can also consider it to be a... C A L L O U T : As you may know, our Twizz runs a charity called the F.T.B.C. (Free The Bees Corporation, don't be so judgy, her and Fern were only 10 when they came up with it!), raising money for the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, and we are collaborating on a very special edition of the radioshow with her, probably in the Spring of next year. So, we are in the market for bee-themed material for the show, which we'll probably release on an album too, make a few extra pennies for the cause. If you fancy contributing to "Space Bees Save The Universe!", you know where to find me, hope to hear from you soon...
Wonderful getting the chance to meet up with these guys recently at the Bats In The Attic goth festival in Morecambe. We've actually known this band for aeons, having released a cassette album called 'Review' by this very stylish Swedish foursome on Music & Elsewhere way back in 1996, later re-released on The United World Underground Collection', the first of our 25th anniversary sets in 2017. And now here we are, finally meeting Niklas Carlsson and crew in the flesh, almost three decades later when they played their first ever gig outside of Scandanavia. Couldn't believe our luck when Nik said they were playing there, it's literally 40 minutes up the road from us, not that far from where Twizz goes to school. She was well up for it too, looks like she's very big on choosing the dark path, even has a Flowers Of Sacrifice badge on her school lanyard! And now here THEY are, getting to play their first gig outside the solar system, how cool is that? Bet that'll be going straight on their press releases! Oh, and Twizz says a big thank you for the t-shirt. Here's hoping they get invited back next year, she's after a hat too... https://darksidecowboys.bandcamp.com
