VOLKER STÖRTEBEKER (EFSPACM / Sturm und Drang GmbH) Volker was the next group admin we came across and has never deleted any of our posts, nice man.
51. “For Magic Are A Jolly Good Bullit” - Terbeschikkingstelling
The story:
A noisemaker and a trombone player went to a bar and what happened there changed history as they knew it... It was on this darkest eve in January (2017) that Terbeschikkingstelling saw it's birthlight and was hurled onto this planet. Emiel and Volker combined their knowledge of their instruments and tried to discover new ways to use them in experimental harmony and discord.
In 2019 Emiel decided to quit and Volker felt the urge to continue as an uno. After spending some time tinkering and pondering Volker reinvented the wheel... found was to work on his own. Loads of collaborations and mastering more digital forms of noise and experimentation allowed him to succeed on his own... Terbeschikkingstelling remained!

52. “Unitas XXIV”
Ensemble etc etc He’s a video artist, okay... he’s Gordon Way... a.k.a. DJ ANY WAY... and he makes sounds for you to play... okay, now I go away...
As our first connection with Gordon was doing the track “Here” for the “Gordon’s Way” video, we thought he might appreciate the return of a couple of familiar voices to introduce him. So we sent Dr. Patel along to visit her psychopathic patient, currently serving life in Millhaven.
KILLER: Dr. Patel, you have come to visit me. DR. PATEL: I have come to visit you. KILLER: This pleases me, it is very lonely here, fuck this. DR. PATEL: Fuck this. KILLER: I have said sorry for killing those girls, but they will not let me out. DR. PATEL: Accusing you. KILLER: Accusing me. DR. PATEL: I am here because the Magic Bullet want us to introduce Gordon Way, do you know who he is? KILLER: Who he am. DR. PATEL: He makes pictures that move. KILLER: Yes! You and I appeared in one of his videos. I know who he is. DR. PATEL: How does that make you feel? KILLER: He is not real, he is a construct, he does not belong here. DR. PATEL: The only place he belongs is here.
GORDON WAY (EFSPACM member) The first EFSPACM project we took part in (after they stopped deleting our posts, and no, Gordon wasn’t involved, he’s much too nice for that) was to produce a soundtrack for a video by him. We were one of ten artists to do so, our take being a musique concrète psychodrama called “Here”, based on a word that appeared as graffiti on a wall at the end of the video, and featuring the two characters in the introductory piece above. The results were released on an album called “Gordon’s Way” (oh yes, they’d put some serious thought into that one) and Skit and I found it quite fascinating how our experience of the visual images changed with every different sound interpretation. We were keen on more, and luckily, so was Gordon, so we’ve just done “Eleven Experiments In Trisecting Them” together, his video, eleven experimental soundtracks by us.

I can’t help it. The world presents me with sounds and sights and I can’t leave them alone. A fit comes over me and I make a video or soundscape to improve reality. You be the judge.

Ensemble etc etc Benches... Tonio Rumoer... benches... Klopmasjien... Like I said recently, I really should write these things down at the time...
TONIO RUMOER (EFSPACM member / BenchesBenches) When Tonio, also uninvolved in Postgate, put forward his ‘BenchesBenches’ project idea to fellow EFSPACM members, we were very keen to get involved. We are spoilt for benches in scenic positions here in our beloved Knott End-On-Sea, so the thought of sharing our views and local sounds on his project website was a happy one indeed.
55. “The Magic Buzz” - Klopmasjien
This summer I stayed a few days at a friends house. Covering his garden wall was a plant which attracted a huge amount of bees, creating a big buzz. Of course I had to record it. I immediately thought the bees would fit in well on a compilation with the name 'Communitas'. So I based my contribution on the sound of these little animals, hope you like it. Long live Magic Bullet!
Fun fact: In my hometown Groningen (the Netherlands) there is a great record store called 'The Magic Buzz'.
