I'll start working
through the various headings through the remainder of this article, but
there's unfortunately nothing in the back-up on the end of the 'forum'
hyperlink. However, going back to the Internet Archive version, a capture
from May 2001 lead to quite a few remnants. It was called "The United
World Underground Discussion Forum" and the first posting still there,
complete with the creator's response, was from a rather familiar name;
Mick Magic

Just wanted to make sure Maaike knows I appreciate the work she's done on
this lovely website and that I do look in from time to time!

oh dear

then I better start updating...
oh well, it's good to know I get a visitor every now and then... even
though I don't deserve it, neglecting the poor little site the way I do!
Ignoring the odd chancer posting unsolicited
adverts for their rip-off schemes and Maaike giving them what for, there
was about a year's worth of stuff, a little window on the past, frozen
there in time.

Hello All
A shameless plug:
delphium have a cassettte version of their mp3 DAM CD available,"Heart
Full Of Hate" on Music And Elsewhere in September. Its pretty much a
sampler of stuff from our three albums and the odd deleted compilation
track.
Check out our website for more information:

Thanks for reading!
Don't forget, these are all 13-14 years old,
expecting all the web addresses to still be valid may be a little on the
silly side...

Well there's no footie today, bar some international nonsense, so I
figured I'd waste some bandwith and leave a message saying how utterly
fantastic I and my two main websites are, namely;
http://www.zeitgeist-scot.co.uk and
http://www.the-rocker.co.uk where you can buy underground music using our
spiffy secure server by such artistes as Magic Moments At Twilight Time
featuring the ever lovely, cuddly, marzipan Mick Magic.
Now where's my medicine
Stuart Hamilton is
still doing The Rocker though...

Wow this place is busy
Sarcasm is the lowest
form of wit and not one I would personally engage in. Though should I do
so, I'm sure that whatever attempt I may have made to enter into such a
battle of badinage with your good self could surely only result in my
utter defeat and devastation at the skilled hands of one of such clearly
superior intellect... |

Who's got the biggest donger, Judge Trev, or Mick Majic. Discuss!
Tommy Lee

Me
Ah, we do miss the mighty Judge Trev, may he rest in psychedelic peace
while angels ply him with Special Brew and Tennent's. And yes, that really was Tommy Lee
of Motley Crue who posted that. And yes, I still have his e-mail address.
And no, having seen the video, neither of us argued with him...

Well there's no footy today so I'm bored
Sat Apr 28 12:44:08 2001
Well when they insist on playing all our remaining games on a Sunday what
else is there to do apart from eat, drink, surf and leave inane messages
on Marzipan Micks bulletin board, while wondering what possessed the Sweet
to write and record "Funk It Up"?
Nice to see the updates Mick and cheers for the ceedees.
Stuart
http://www.the-rocker.co.uk
You were very welcome, Stu, cheers for all the nice reviews. And that was
it, the final surviving posting, the forum hadn't saved any at all on
the later Internet Archive captures. Or, perish the thought, nobody ever
posted another word on it! No, that's too horrendous to contemplate.
Having said that, by this point, I had an e-mail address, the old
magic@uwunderground.fsnet.co.uk one, so people could contact me directly
to promote their projects, advise on my alcohol consumption or question my penile dimensions.
And they did... |
