Chaos Bleak - A Saucer Of Light / Locked On Target
Trevor 'Nightbreed' Bamford and crew doing
what can best be described as classic Hawkgoth; space may be deep, but it's
pretty damned dark too. Two here from the Nottingham outfit's "Assassins Of
Silence" album to get the smoke rising from your ears. It calms the bees,
you understand, giving you a chance to safely enjoy the show...

Enter my collaborator on the
Space Bees Trilogy...
Our very own Jaxx Magic, founder of the FTBC -
Bee The Future charity, through which she's already raised a fair bit of wonga for the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, here reprising her role as Twizz
Sigma, the captain's daughter. Right: Preparing for her bee talk to The
Ladies Of Over Wyre at the Knott End Working Mens Club in April, at which
she added another £150...

03. Billy
Yfantis - First Light
A perfect bit of beaming down music from
the Greek electronic maestro. Featured track is another piece of unashamedly
retro EM from his "New Moon" album. Looking further into his world, he's
also something of an academic, having published many reference works related
to music, plus produces the Skylight Webzine. Told you this was an
intelligent radioshow, didn't I...

Enter the bad guy, super villain extraordinaire, Milton Keynes...
Played for us by my brother, Todd,
occasional film star (as Todd Feely, you might remember we did a special a
couple of years back based on his movie, "Blood Hunt") and author of The
Splinter Tribe Saga books, the latter of which he uses our grandmother's
surname for instead. Oh, and while I think of it, many thanks to the staff
and management at the Baltimore Hospital For The Criminally Insane for
facilitating the odd day release so he could record his lines, much
appreciated.

04. Sonvol - Sonic
Beehive
Don't panic, there's nothing wrong with
your radio, speakers or pods, it's meant to sound like this! Excellent piece
of ear jarring disturbance from the Last Krep Productions man in Slovenia,
recorded especially for the show, and my apologies to him for the rather
severe radio edit, but I didn't want to scare Dave at KOWS again. Rest
assured the full five minutes will be on the special compilation album to be
released at the end of the series in August. Meanwhile, be brave, visit his
Bandcamp, headphones, very loud, we dare you (but won't pay your medical
bills)...

05. Wilfried Hanrath - Something In The Air And In Between
"As Professor Wilfried Hanrath’s work on the
subject states, bees on Earth are responsible for the pollination of some
75% of leading global crops, but space bees are responsible for pollinating
worlds and seeding life itself. If there is a
collapse in space bee numbers, it could be apocalyptic for
humankind and all other beings throughout the
galaxy." (Twizz Sigma, Bee Day Statement, 6th June 2026)
Yes, we made him a professor in the story,
we thought he'd like that. Another piece created specially for the show,
courtesy of the German multi instrumentalist, also a colleague in the
EFSPACM group, with whom I hope to be doing a sec0nd festival special in
August, fingers crossed. And yes, we've forgiven him for the Wham! incident
now...
