Mick Tron - The Biodroid This was another of the great gothic rock bands that appeared on the "UWU Collection", I couldn't resist giving them both a bonus airing on tonight's presentation. This is the superb single, "One Moment In Time"... Mick Tron - The Biodroid Love the image too... Mick Tron - The Biodroid This is going by way too quickly, where's Andy Clark when you need him? Mick Tron Could it be those dark and brooding middle aged grumpy men The Flowers Of Sacrifice have quite possibly had an early night? Mick Tron Brilliant single. Gonna come away from the bigger names now to one that was not specifically gothic, but had a very dark element to their music. Had quite a reputation in the international underground, I am reliably informed, the band I refer to is... Mick Tron This track is "Ballad Of Bedham", and if you've not heard this totally off-scene band before, do give it a good listen... Mick Tron Not the kind of band that ever posed for cameras, but some stylish album covers... 0			Mick Tron One of their vintage albums, early 90's I think, amongst the first batch of releases on M&E in April 1992, has been remastered by the German Klappstuhl label, very worth a listen and adding to your collection... Mick Tron Is anyone going to say hi? I'm supposed to stretch this out till half past midnight! Hey ho. Back to the better known bands from the underground gothic rock scene now, the mighty... Mick Tron The tracks on the M&E Collection are all drawn from the later "Meadow Glow" album, the band moved more to progressive gothic with a stronger rock edge to it by that point, but the track I've chosen is a classic from their first M&E cassette release, "Arena". This is "Beyond The Ocean"... Mick Tron And many moons later, the band are still performing and recording together, you should hear the recent material! Mick Tron Some three decades I am told they've been going for now, and it's not just the band and their timescale that are epic, they do some seriously long and involved pieces. Definitely a progressive element in here, the track I've chosen comes from "Kind Of Strangest Dream", tis called "An Offer (That Can't Be Refused)", and it will chill your soul for the next quarter of an hour...
