UWU COLLECTION - THE FREE
MUSIC PAGE & DOWNLOADABLE COMPILATION ALBUM
A veritable
treasure trove of free sample tracks from the bands and artistes on the
first volume of the M&E 25th Anniversary Collection (M&E 25-01, 2017),
featuring music (and elsewhere) from 30 countries, spanning the five
continents of our United World Underground. 36 tracks in all, offering
several hours of subterranean sounds to pleasure your aural sensors with.
You can also grab yourself a digital copy of the original 2001 compilation
album (MMATT CD2) that gave the collection its name. A great place to start
your exploration of the M&E back catalogue.
Enjoy muchly... |

THE LAST
AUDIOZINE - THE UNRELEASED RISE 2003 EDITION!
Ten years late it may
have been, but we at Music & Elsewhere were pleased to finally round off the
number of releases to an even 600, with what should have been a C-90 in May
2003, but ended up as a 'virtual album' available free on Soundcloud in
February 2013. It was originally removed in January 2014 to make space for
the new M&E Showcases, but those didn't really work out as well as we had
hoped and are unlikely to be revived anytime soon. So, I'm pleased to
say it is now back online and available to listen to and/or download at your
pleasure. |

MAGIC MOMENTS AT TWILIGHT
TIME - "FLASHBAX Ω ULTIMATE"
Released on
Klappstuhl Records (SP 008) in October 2015, this double album collection is
a compilation of the best tracks from the old "Flashbax" series, thus
effectively a best of MMATT's cassette years, 1986-1992. Available in hard
copy on one of those delightful faux vinyl CDR's (with code for bonus
download album) or pure download, the latter option of which is available
for a mere €5,00. Featuring over two hours of music (and elsewhere), the
album comes with an impressive 25 page A4 PDF format booklet, complete with
lyrics, artwork, photos and many a tall tale. And you can listen before you
buy on Bandcamp, how cool is that? |

MAGIC MOMENTS AT TWILIGHT
TIME - "FLASHBAX OMICRON 13"
A very special
free downloadable collection, featuring only tracks that had never
previously been digitised, one from each of our 13 albums (or appropriate
session where the whole album was already available), so some absolute gems
and serious rarities along the way. This compilation was put together as
part of the launch event finale for the remastered reissue of "Creavolution
Reborn" (TMR Records, TMR CD8170) in September 2018. The link on the left
will take you to the beginning of that feature, from whence you can grab
yourself a free copy (by clicking on the album cover) to listen to whilst
reading it all. We spoil you, don't we? |

MICK MAGIC & FRIENDS -
"CREAVOLUTION 22"
22 years on from
the eventual release of our best selling album ever, having paid for itself
many moons ago, we are pleased to make a second edition of it freely
available in high quality 320k mp3 format for the first time, right here on
this website. It's been specially re-edited for the digital age to work as
standalone tracks, so you can either listen to or download all or favourites
till your heart's content. This special second edition includes a whole
album's worth of extras; tracking from my first return to the studio after
the demise of the original band, all the way up to the aftermath of the
album's release, including a previously unreleased mix of TMR's "Armegeddon
Time", and "Storm", a never before heard unused track from the
"Creavolution" sessions! |

MAGIC MOMENTS AT TWILIGHT TIME
- "MMATTLAND COMMUNITY RADIO FM"
Specially
digitised from the original C90 (MMATT 35) for the "Flashbax Omicron 13"
online event. Captain Garry Lee and The Black Widow, masquerading as Mrs. E
and Scrotum The Wrinkled Retainer, did this broadcast on then pirate
station, Freedom Overflow, as an April Fool's joke in 1992, playing only
MMATT and related until they finally passed out. So, lest they forget... |

MAGIC MOMENTS AT TWILIGHT TIME
- "LIVE AT FRIMLEY COMMUNITY CENTRE"
A special edition
for the "Flashbax Omicron 13" online event, featuring our 45 minute live
debut from June 1986 (C-4010), plus the rehearsal in May for the infamous
gig-that-never-was, when we were still just "a husband and wife duo from
north west Surrey", originally released as one side of the long forgotten
freebie "Live... And Sorry!" (C-4006). Can you hear me at the back... |

MAGIC MOMENTS -
"FLASHBAX VOL. 1"
Originally
released by 10 labels around the world between 1991-94, this copy was
digitised for us by the UK issuing label, Acid Tapes. Available for
streaming or free download from Reverbnation. |
|
MAGIC MOMENTS -
"DESIGNER BRAIN DAMAGE"
Originally
released by Stan Batcow's Pumf Records in 1992, who have rather kindly
digitised it for us, thus we can make it available to you for streaming or
free download from Reverbnation. |
|
|
|
MAGIC MOMENTS -
"FLASHBAX VOL. 3"
Another of the
original Flashbax series, most famously released by Irre Tapes in Germany,
from whom this digitised version comes. As with 1, it had to be edited for
Reverbnation, but hey, it's free!
|
|
MAGIC MOMENTS -
"FREEDOM OVERFLOW"
A special online
release by the Rodent Tapes Backstage netlabel, available on the Internet
Archive. Aside from the title track, it contains mostly stuff from "White
Hawk Atomic"...
